Gloria drew and painted since early childhood and is self taught. She continued her love of art through high school and while attending Michigan State University winning first place awards and people's choice. Her career as a speech therapist and special education teacher occupied her time along with working on her husband's dairy farm in Brutus, MI. The family farm was sold to the Amish in May 2017 and she officially retired. The call to paint was renewed and in August 2018 she began painting again; this time in a brand new medium, watercolors. Her original paintings are one of a kind and focus on celebrating the beauty of nature.
